A large number of mobile phone users told UPP correspondent that the snatching of cellular phones has reached a very proportion and almost every user feels him or herself at risk while using a mobile telephone in public.
They say that this situation is unacceptable and call upon the authorities to take very strong action and deal ruthlessly with the snatchers and break up their gangs.
The users say that the mobile phone has become a necessity in the present day life and unless the owner finds the surrounding safe to use these phones in public and unless the snatchers are speedily arrested and given exemplary punishment, the users of mobile phones would reduce instead of growing.
They hoped that their plea for strong action will be given due consideration so that the users would have required protection, which is the duty of every government to provide.
